DRUGIES LAMENT

I used to be a drugie
And get my head to spin
My mind all a buzzing
My face a constant grin

I used to be a drugie
And my imagination the universe
My questions with no answers
I began to curse

I used to be a drugie
And my answers would come to me
But being drugged to the questions
I could no longer see

That I used to be a drugie
Only because I could see
That their answers to their questions
Where trying to blind me

Ooohhh…that was sooo good. You did a great job of laying out the mental steps of both
a drugie and an alcoholic. Your writing is delicious. I am enthralled and inspired by it…I’m just in luv. lol…

    Wow! Love it.
