John S. Cook & Co. Bank, Rhyolite, Nevada, USA
Featured in “The Wild West Show” – June 2009.
Rhyolite, Nevada is a ghost town just outside the boundary of Death Valley National Park.
It was a town built on gold and the hopes and dreams that the precious metal inspires. Founded in 1904 and abandoned only 15 years later in 1919, it was a very short-lived community.

This is really good, the sky even lends itself to the mood of the shot. Makes you wonder what the little town was like during its hey day!

What a grand old building that would have been in it’s day. At the very least in it’s decrepidness you have turned it into wonderful art. Love the sky too. Well done.
