Hide and Seek - Children at play acrylic original painting

Rick Short

Mount Dora, United States

Artist's Description

I love creating Children’s Art. Whether you are nine or ninety-nine, my hope is that this painting will appeal to the inner child in everyone.
If you could create the perfect day for any child, what would be a better day then a day at the beach and dinner with your best friends?
Here, I depicted a group of children playing Hide and Seek after attending a birthday party together with their best friends and favorite stuffed pals. As they look up to the clouds, they see their favorite things in the clouds. Can you see them? How many horses can you count in the clouds? How many Teddy Bears? What else do you see?
When I was a boy, I used to get into trouble in class for daydreaming, I still day dream and my art work reflects those dreams. I hope this painting will inspire people to stop and daydream and reach out to the clouds to see your visions and dreams come true.
Painted using Acrylic paint and colored pencil on poster board.
