I was captivated by this old North Carolina farmhouse so I stopped to take some pictures. This cow seemed to be very curious and did not mind being photographed at all.
THe house is over 100 years old and at one time had a roof covering the entire front porch. There are two front doors which seems to be typical of many houses in that period. I’m not sure why. If anyone does know, please say so!
Update-Thanks to Craigsmom who researched and found the answer to “why two front doors.” See her comment below. I am sure that all who are on RB are perfect housekeepers but for people who aren’t, adding a 2nd front door sounds like a great idea. (-:
