The last few rays of the setting sun seemed to give these trees and mountains an almost magical golden red glow.THis photo was taken near Morganton, North Carolina with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background.

  • Thank you, Antanas. The sunlight is already gone from foreground pasture and the lower parts of the trees but still hitting the higher branches and mountains. I should have gotten here a few minutes earlier. Will try to go back again in a few weeks and get there a littlle earlier.
