AngelPhotozzz
Soo beautiful.. good to see you again!
Jane Best replied
Thanks Angelphotozzz! Even though I have gone out to take photos for several weeks, I have been ending up with “flunky” photos that I just ended up deleting. I was pleased with this one though.

Hi Jane, I envy you your countryside, this really is a splendid view, and the sky is beautiful!
Jane Best replied
Thank you FelicityB. THis was taken about 8AM. It was 1.5 hour drive plus 30 min walking uphill to get to this place. As I was walking up the hill to get to this point I met several photographers who were heading down to the parking lot because they had been up on this mountain since 4thirty AM in order to catch the sunrise!

Thank you Marilyn! It was so pretty up there that I went back again day before yesterday. Though it was very foggy this time, it was still lovely and dramatic there.

This is just beautiful Jane! I live in Virginia near the Blue Ridge. These mountains are awesome! O like how your composition has the grassy land in front of the view and the flowers look so beautiful. Well done. A fav!!
Jane Best replied
THank you Ginny! You are in a beautiful area too! Because we have had so much rain this year, everything is particularly lush and green!

PS Gorgeous sky and fog all the way up into the mountains. I love that! :))

I went back to this place on Friday and it was very foggy-but still interesting. Also cool enough to wear a jacket which was nice.

Wonderful photo Jane. You couldn’t have painted this one any prettier than this. I feel like I’m standing right there with the wind in my face.
Jane Best replied
THank you Donna. Actually I have been trying to paint it but so far the painting looks pitiful!

A beautiful landscape composition Jane, love the contrast of the wispy grass in the foreground versus the mountainous backdrop, the rhododendrons are a welcome colour contrast that add to the beauty, well captured,
Regards, Rod.
