On the River

THank you very much Lindsay. It was a beautiful time of year to photograph in the park.

Thank you Angel. Earlier in the day, some photographers in the park had told me this was a good place for late day photography. When I got to this location, there were about 15 or so photographers standing on the rocks with their tripods all set up. I figured it was a photography club or workshop group.

THank you mickspixphotos. This time of year, this park is a very popular place for nature photographers.

Thanks Joanne. Earlier in the day a photographer had told me this was a great place for late day photography. When I got to this site, there was a group of photographers already on the rocks with their tripods so I drove up the road a little way and photoed some wild iris. When I came back by, they were gone so I stopped and took this photo. I saw several photography groups as well as individual photographers while in the park.

Thank you jacqi. THe park is a very popular place for photographers and nature enthusiasts. I have been there in the summer when it has been extremely crowded but this time of year, late April, was not as crowded and there were endless photo ops.

Thank you, Mary. I had never been in the Spring before. In my opinion, that is the perfect time of year to go. I was amazed at how many photographers I saw with license plates from all over who were taking pictures of the wildflowers and scenery.

Thank you Scott. Earlier in the day a photographer in the park told me that this was a great location for late day shooting. When I got to this location, there were a dozen or so photographers with tripods already set up on rocks in the middle of the river. Obviously a popular place for photography!
