Thank you very much Hans. THe weather was so bad I almost gave up without taking any photos but learned a good lesson that sometimes it pays to be patient and stick around because the fog did lift enough to take a decent photograph.

I am hearing that there is a winter storm in that area now so a good time to be getting lots of snow pictures. It is about 1/2 way betw Linville Falls and Linn Cove Viaduct on Parkway. Heading N, it is on R side of Parkway. Hope to see some more of your lovely snow scenes on your site.

I thought it was interesting to go back and compare the two and decided that it would be fun to go back in early Spring (April there) and take another photo.
