Saturday the 15th of January, 2011 and now the sun is rising.

Not long after this I was taking another set of exposures only to discover that this set provided a little more water under the rock I had the camera/tripod perched on. Having already been in this spot and watched a few sets come in I figured I was safe…….wrong! I got splashed, along with the camera. Nothing too drastic but enough to call it quits as the nearest towel was back up the cliff and I wanted the equipment dried off as quickly as possible. At present it appears it was only on the surface of the lens/camera body that got splashed and nothing got through. It did make for an interesting morning.

Equipment
Nikon D300
12-24mm f/4.0
tripod
remote release

Processing
Photomatix Pro
3 images (-3ev, -1ev, 1ev)

The noise cleaned up with noiseware.

A Big THANK YOU to those that take the time and effort to peruse my images. Also thanks for the extra time you have taken for making comments. All comments are appreciated and read, that includes constructive criticism.
