Fire twirling at Burleigh Heads Park.
Speaking to the staff at Three Worlds they advised my wife and I that of a Sunday evening down at Burleigh heads park they have a drum circle and fire twirling. After my wife bought an African Drum of her own (properly known as a Djembe Drum) we ventured down here whilst holidaying on the Gold Coast. It touched the sight and sounds senses with a visual display of fire in motion accompanied by the sounds of many drums.
A bit of a free plug for Three Worlds as they do take considerable to to attend to their customers. The gent that sold my wife her Djembe spent around 2 hours with her and in the process of selling the drum literally gave her an introductory lesson on how to play.
