Lovely piece. It has a soft feel to it, sort of like a memory in candle glow. After seeing it I wanted to look up Decanter again…it was those industriously arty Venetians who pioneered the making of the long-necked glass decanter…the art of exposing a body in order to move its essence into a softening flavor.
