For some strange reason, it makes me think of those little promotional items where a scene lies behind embedded in a case behind a thin film of liquid in which a foreground item floats, free to move as you tilt the case this way and that.
The dog is that moveable part, yes? It seems to have a sorta random tilt.. ;-)
