Hi Kerry Beautifull work and Oh how I wish I could paint!Brett

  • Thanks Old salty. You could paint, it is only a matter of practice. I could not paint until I read books and just kept on trying. As time goes on there appears to be less duds and more successes, although there is always the thought that the next one will be the masterpiece.
    Regard Kerry

Wow Kerry, just looking up your gallery of artwork, amazing. What talent you have, This is a beautiful painting – love the lines, pose & colours, an instant fave! Nice to chat to a wheatbelt artist!

  • Thank you. I paint and do lots of different types of art but watercolour is allways my favourite and I seem to keep returning to it. For me it is more of a challenge as hard to correct if errors are made. Also I just love the way the water and colours flow. Glad you missed any damage or flooding. My daughter got caught in it and lost car windscreen. Dumbleyung copped it a few weeks back, lost the top verandah of the hotel, the school roof, lots of sheds went and other roofs. Our house and my studio were ok. Regards Kerry

Yeah watercolour has a beautiful flow – keep it up! sorry to hear that your daughter had her car damaged. It has been such an awful disaster for so many people. Gosh so your little town was struck too, pleased your studio was ok, will keep in touch
