Design featuring a photograph of two dragonfly exuvia; one is that of a common darter (sympetrum striolatum), the UK’s smallest dragonfly, while the other is that of a large hawker dragonfly. The exuviae (looking like empty spacesuits) are discarded by dragonflies and damselflies when they leave the water (where the largest ones can live for five years) to transform into flying insects for the last few weeks of their lives.
