This is indeed an exceptional portrait. I think what strikes me the most is the way you dealt with the background—makes it look as though spikes are emitted from his (her?) gaze giving the subject a totally anguished persona. The lighting is amazing the way it picks out detail and nothing is blown out. Killer portrait!
