As I wait...

I was walking down at the river last year and saw this man fishing and waiting for the catch.. ..it was almost sunset at that time..17.30 locale time..I grabbed my cam D300 using 18/200 mm Nikkor VR Lens with ND4 filter. ISO 400, Focal length 200mm, Aperture F/5.6 and shutter speed 1/100s. composed it and click photo it!
I hope you like it..thanks for looking..much appreciated!

As I Wait…

As I wait,
The Sunlight speaks to me
Of gentler times.
Of childhood that will never return,
Of love that was to come,
Of love that has been.

As I wait,
The wind whispers to me
Not to be sad,
Not to regret,
Not to think back too far
And become too lost
In my thoughts

It tells me to look forwards
Into the sparkling Waters
Of my life, now.
To be dazzled by what is,
Not blinded by was was not,
Nor ever will be.

As I wait,
I hear in the Sunlight
And in the Wind,
The voice of God,
A Father’s voice to his child.
