Found this little guy when I opened the porch umbrella…so cute! And I was just thinking the other night that I hadn’t seen any bats around here…his body was about 2.5" long

    What a wonderful capture!!! Here in Germany they are under protection! We even have specialists that get them well again before letting them out, after an injury!!!

    This is just dandy ~ a Little Brown Bat, I assume. This place is chock full of Little Browns; protected, encouraged… the trademark of Chautauqua. And no mosquitoes there, at all! ~ Sheila
