Redbubble 2010 - Resolutions and Targets

Resolutions and Targets for in 2010 on Redbubble
(This should be done by everyone on redbubble.com, in order to stimulate everyone and to do his/her best to promote his/her art. I hope that this journal is accepted in every group.
This will produce more constructive work both for the individuals and also for the groups)

I JUST HOPE THAT WITH THIS JOURNAL I AM DELIVERING SOMETHING POSITIVE TO YOU

In life, setting targets is important (planning to go abroad, to buy a house, to get married, to buy a camera etc).
This should also be done on redbubble.com.

These are individual targets that do not need to be shared with everyone: (for example)
number of daily/monthly/yearly views
number of sales
number of uploads per week/month/year.
Among other targets that I had set for 2009:
36000 views (in reality I managed to get 58000 views)
6 sales (actualy I had 8 sales – 3 greeting cards, 2 framed prints, 1 poster & 2 calendars)
For 2010 I am aiming for the following:
60000 views
6 sales
(when I refer to sales I means other people buying you work, not you buying your work)

And you, what are you aiming for?

First thing that comes to mind is…but views and sales do not depend on me!!
Actually that is not so correct.
Try and find ways and means to get people to visit your work. Surely without people visiting your work, you cannot effect any sales.
So what can you do?
Email friends and relatives.
Use facebook, twitter etc for “marketing”
Use some thumbnails of other works when uploading new work,
Participate more in challenges and in groups where works are being viewed b more people.

With regards to Resolutions, I wish to go on the human aspect.
Let us all leave comments on other peoples work.
Let us all leave constructive comments on how the work can be adjusted to look better, not just saying “NICE”
Let us all participate more in group activities, challenges, journals and forums.
Let us all add new friends on our watchlist.

Is there anything that I can help you with?
DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME.
(by the way – I am just a rookie/amateur in photography,
but I am sure that I will expand my talent AND YOU CAN DO IT TOO)

Last but not lease I wish to thank to you for:
YOU who bought my card,
YOU who add me to your watchlist,
YOU who favored my work,
YOU who commented on my work,
YOU who accepted my work in your group,
YOU who voted for me in the challenges.

Regards,

Christian Zammit
