Ink to me me to ink ink inking ink inks the truth of ink inking is not just ink you must think to ink….superb inking that you do…I ink too very hard to do….hello Sophia aka SBC….I am Valente thank you.
i dont know if you do your ink work completely on your own but i did one once YEARS ago in an art class using a computer program and i was curious if thats what you did. this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE style of art and i want to do another ink painting but i cant figure out how to do it with out that program…help?
well, believe it or not i didnt use a computer – i used a grid system – the ol’ fashion way. took me forever… i dont know if that helps. this was done years ago as well, in florence italy. you can sketch out a design or a figure, scan it in photoshop and fill it in or thenimport it into illustrator-and then select to trace and live paint and then fill in. hope that helps- you do need to figure out where the light source is coming from and keep that area white.
thank you so much. the light source tip i think is the key to my problem lol! i never thought of that…guess thats the downside of being a young/new artist. ive never really explored different media and styles but ive just got SO much in my head that i want to get onto paper, i just dont know how sometimes! thank you tons!
