Let’s hope he is not leaking gas! LOL! Fun to see the working end of it!
It’s always a surprise to see what a flat artwork will do as a terrain map. Same technique works in Vue as well.
Awesome work. I sure hope he is gentle.
As I recall he was very small, like a ladybug.
Wonderful Syd!! I remember this one!! :)
Heh heh, I brought this back as an example for some possible Bryce newbies. Hard to explain without pictures.
cool Syd! I’m one of those very newbie ones (grin) .. even without the tutorial I got a glimpse of what (big smile) ….
Heh , it’s cool that Bryce 7 is now the freebie, it’s also cool that you can do this in Vue!
it is … I still have 5.5 … think it’s time I upgrade to the new free version (smile) … am I correct and Vue does not have a free version? ….
Here is the link for BRYCE 7 Download for Mac and PC, and also one row down you can get the Bryce Manual for version 6 as a PDF, very useful. Also my 3 intro tutorials.I just checked on Vue, snd there is a free version of that too, link follows:
thank you Syd for getting these links for me! I’ll be downloading them asap! (big smile)
I hope the free Vue doesn’t render a logo on it or something stupid. If you have any trouble getting going, just ask me questions!
doesn’t seem like it would (I read about it) … and if I need help I’m sure to ask you for it (big smile) … thanks again, Syd (big smile)
fantastic work Syd !
Just playing with a tutorial! Thanks!
So Cool Syd!
Thanks Tanya, both Bryce and Vue let you swap out a photo for the elevation map on a terrain, really fun to do.
