Different Drummer Episode IV

I wasn’t going to leave Meps looking like a silly robot, just because he dropped his soda, he’s a quality being, and brave too, and he really gets around in saucer mode!!

Thanks Peter, I wasn’t even finished with Dropped His Soda before I knew I just had to do this, and linking the two scenes was too much fun!

Thanks so much Danilo, especially coming from you, I got really inspired while still working on Dropped His Cup I had to define girl robot, Pique is her name. I created the city backdrop first, and had so much cool stuff back there my computer ran out of memory, so I simplified things and moved the scene way up high. Surprisingly, one of the hardest things was the net, and it worked first time, I was so surprised!

Thanks Scott, so far no one has noticed the Episode IV joke, homage to George Lucas for starting Star Wars with Episode 4, then 5, 6, 1, 2, 3!

Welllllllll, there isn’t an actual adventure story at this time, but there may be snippets of things later, there will definitely be more robots, and it seems Detective Nit needs a new vehicle, maybe something like the Geiger Recumbent, with a seat for Meps!

That’s right! First time doing an action sequence with special effects, that little robot is a brave little guy!

Hi Lina, thanks so much, it actually started with the little robot’s Screen Test, and continued with a chance encounter with a memorable character that led to the capture of two notorious assassins! Whew, gotta rest after that!

Thanks Keith, city scenes are so hard, I spent days creating such a complex backdrop my computer wouldn’t render it, so I pulled out a bunch of stuff and raised everything into the sky. The net model had me the most perplexed, actually, but I needed it because Detective Blue Man doesn’t blast people, he has a stunner, and we needed answers!

Thank you, JK, I just fell into a plot line while I was in the middle of THIS ONE and knew I had to bring back Detective Nit , since it’s the same street, different day!

It all started because THIS took place on the same city block as “THIS:http://www.redbubble.com/people/sbaker5/art/2230820-2-blue-man-black-candle-at-midnight and it seemed natural to put Detective Blue Man together with Meps, who instantly became Mechanical Employee of Police Squad. And he turned out to be a brave little dude, in saucer-mode.
And now, you see, even tho they captured the bad guys and solved the case, Detective Nit needs a new ride, maybe something similar to THIS , two seats would be good, hmmm…

Thanks Brian, our heros make a pretty good team, looks like I’ll have to design a new vehicle for Detective Blue Man, heh heh heh!

Detective blue Man and partner Meps are definitely worthy team members in anyone’s game! I think the detective will need a new set of wheels too… hmmm, I’m sure I’ve got some parts lying around!

Thanks LA, even though these scenes get pretty tedious tweaking everything, it got pretty darn exciting there near the end, I was really tired!

Ohhh, thank you so much! I got so caught up in the excitement of the scene I was exhausted at rendering time!

I knew I had to team up Meps and Detective Nit (Blue Man), I actually got pretty excited myself as the image came together! Whew!!

Well for starters, the Detective will need a new set of wheels, maybe something less traditional, eh?

Perhaps his merits in closing the last case will award him something experimental and high tech, with special accommodations for his mechanical partner!

So sorry to hear about the Mac, you’re far more familiar with the guts than I, don’t know if this is helpful, but one of the several PC maintenance programs I use is a very thorough free one, CCleaner if you wind up on the PC again. Also don’t know if it helps, but 4 times I have acquired Dell PC’s by financing through Dell online after building the machine online to my specs, it’s a reasonable possibility. More soon!
