Kitty Serendipity was a series of photographs documenting the backstage activities of a fictional burlesque troop.

As I stared at them for the few weeks before the exhibition, I discovered that although they were photos of burlesque girls backstage, they also recalled to mind snapshots of many different myths, stories and fairy tales, which is why they’re all named as they are.

This image is a cross processed image shot on kodak slide film under theatrical lighting with no post editing.
