Multi-Media artist, OLGA SAVVIDIS was born
in Omorfoklissia, Kastoria, Greece.

She was educated at Monash Uni. (B.A. in Visual Arts) and Melbourne Uni. (Dip.Ed).

Olga has worked as a Secondary Teacher and Arts Reviewer.

In 2004, Olga’s Abstract Expressionistic
works were represented by ATLANTIS SOUND.

In 2005, a solo exhibition titled
ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONS OF 3181 opened.
The exhibition was sponsored
by Stonnington Council and launched by
the Mayor of Stonnington, Cr. Sarah Davies.

In 2006, Olga exhibited 26 paintings at a successful
solo show, THE UNBEARABLE BEAUTY OF
PICASSO’S LOST WOMEN at Gallery 314, Richmond.

In April, 2007 Olga was invited to exhibit her works
At Artycles Gallery, Railway Parade, Highett.
The exhibition ends May 9th.

Olga is accomplished at writing music for Theatre, Film
and released three recordings of her
musical compositions to date.

As an experienced composer and musician
she has performed her compositions at
various venues: Melbourne Concert Hall,
Dallas Brooks Hall, Melbourne Town Hall
and the Australian Film Centre.

Olga has also completed an
original piano score for a documentary
film on Veteran American Photographer,
Maggie Diaz.
It was screening at the city Museum,
old Treasury, Melbourne, from March 11 till 24th June 2007.

Completed a series of piano Etudes, titled PAINTINGS AT AN EXHIBITION. The works are musical interpretations of selected Australian paintings in the National Gallery of Victoria.

Composed and Arranged her first major classical score, titled ODE TO DIANA SUITE.

Composed film score for film, BLOODLINES, written and directed by Jim Ewing.

Completed a musical score for the film on the RIALTO TWIN TOWERS, titled, “360”.
It is currently screening the Rialto Vision Theatre, Collins Street, Melbourne.
