Wake-Up and smell the sunrise! At least enjoy it with this photo. I can’t get my wife out of bed for it either! The Mighty Columbia River with Mt Hood in the background just as the sun was casting it’s first light. Taken with a Canon 5D and a 75-300 from the banks of the Columbia River in Camas Washington, USA.

I have had a camera in my hand since the late sixties! Recently someone looked at a photo display I had in a coffee shop and got goose bumps. All I try to do is to capture various aspects of God’s amazing creation and let you also enjoy what I am seeing! If you get goose bumps, that’s great. But remember I only capture what he created. He creates, I capture, we enjoy.

This is beautiful Randy!! The tones and Mt Hood in the background!! Very nice
A few minutes before I got to this spot the morning colors were like glowing gold! Why was I so lazy in getting out of the house this morning?

Hi Arnene, believe it or not, the two photos you commented on were both taken less that 100 yards apart, almost two years apart.
