Hood River Oregon, USA is know for lots of wind (one of the wind surfing capitals of the world) and lots of fruit trees. In the spring thousands and thousands of various fruit trees blossom either white or pink. It’s a stunning sight as you gaze up the steeply sloping ground which eventually becomes Mt Hood. You can go to a place called Panaroma Point and for many miles you can see the beautiful Spring and Fall colors of the Hood River Valley. Taken with a Canon 5D and a 28-135.

I have had a camera in my hand since the late sixties! Recently someone looked at a photo display I had in a coffee shop and got goose bumps. All I try to do is to capture various aspects of God’s amazing creation and let you also enjoy what I am seeing! If you get goose bumps, that’s great. But remember I only capture what he created. He creates, I capture, we enjoy.

Nice image, the blossoms are only here for short time, thanks for sharing.
They do go fast. The nice thing about here is there is such a differece in elevation that you can actually see good blooms for about 3 weeks. The lower ones first and then they open later on as you get higher up.

Jacqui, you seem to like my shots so much that I think you need to take a vacation in Oregon and come and get some yourself!
