As I was driving towards Portland from the Gorge, I saw the light change as the sun dropped below the thunderstorm clouds. The lighting and the dark clouds in the background made for an unusually beautiful scene. You can see that at this point in Spring that only the Cherry Blossom trees had any growth on them. I was glad I had my camera with me! This was taken in Troutdale, Oregon, USA, at the west end of the Columbia RIver Gorge with a Canon XT and a 28-135

I have had a camera in my hand since the late sixties! Recently someone looked at a photo display I had in a coffee shop and got goose bumps. All I try to do is to capture various aspects of God’s amazing creation and let you also enjoy what I am seeing! If you get goose bumps, that’s great. But remember I only capture what he created. He creates, I capture, we enjoy.
