This Wooden ladder is the only access point to an under ground lava tube filled with fresh, cold water. It’s and amazing spot that has two openings where the lava has collapsed into the tube to make the openings. This tube is located about 20 miles north of Kona Hawaii, USA and I took this with a Nikon L310. You can swim in two different direction, but if you go away from the openings to the ground it gets real dark real fast. I love the way the water bends the light and the ladder does not line up below and above the water. The tube gets deep enough that you can’t touch bottom! You are so close to the ocean here that you could throw a rock and hit the ocean.

I have had a camera in my hand since the late sixties! Recently someone looked at a photo display I had in a coffee shop and got goose bumps. All I try to do is to capture various aspects of God’s amazing creation and let you also enjoy what I am seeing! If you get goose bumps, that’s great. But remember I only capture what he created. He creates, I capture, we enjoy.
