Artist's Description

This sad looking soul is my kitty, Sir Flash A Lot…or…Fur Ball, Fluffy Butt, Punky, Flashers………………or..well…Just Flash for short.
We adopted this beautiful soul from the Humane Society in my town in NE Kansas…and have never regretted a moment of his life with us (nasty cat litter and cat pukey not included). He sleeps with me every night…I HAVE to stick to a strict schedual with him OR ELSE….wake each morning to listen to his Morning Purr….by mid day he’s in the Leave Me ALONE and early evening it’s Attack And Kill the Feet mode. Once we settle down with a book…he promptly sticks a paw in my face and waits for me to roll over and let him achieve his Anti-Levitation mode for my rear end (he likes to sleep there for some reason?).
Right now, in this image, he’s frustrated because it’s chilly and breezy…and he refuses to be insulted by a gusting wind which might rumple his fur…so he’s giving me this pitiful look so I’ll take pity (NOT take pictures).
…………………………………………….
Adopt an adult kitty when you can……….they’re the least adopted but just as lovable as the kittens u see romping around. Sir Flash was 8 years old when we adopted him and we’ve had him almost 8 years now….filling our lives with love, purrs, fur and contentment. The shelter we found him in, the Humane Society, is a no-kill shelter. Unfortunately, this does not always mean animals brought there have successfully happy endings like our kitty did.
