Artist's Description

Ceramic Parchment, Xylobolus frustulatus. An Oak loving fungi that can grow on a space more then 4 feet across. Each of these individual pieces, however, are small…maybe a quarter inch at most?
They look like dried clay or mud that crackles up when dry.
