Taken at Kansas City Renaissance Festival. Held every fall in NE Kansas at Bonner Springs. Celebrating days gone by with costumes, pageants, revelry and feasting…this is such a fun event with fairies, pirates, kings and queens and even a vulgarian here and there.
I made my 11 year old son take a few snap shots of me since I wasn’t really happy with the last set we did when going to the RenFest.
THIS one I loved. The dress itself I bought online….the gauntlets I made from faux leather and ribbons. The ugly shoes I got on the discount shelf at Wallyworld.
Was such a grand festival to go to…and each year we just enjoy it more and more!

haha…naw…I was in my mid-life crisis when I had him…lol
the shoes were only 50c on the shelf there……….Wallyworld is our Wal Mart…nicknamed because of an old Chevy Chase movie where they were going on vacation to Wally World :o)
