Clever shot. I like how you took something so common and mundane as dried up, broken apart leaf area and made it a fascinating subject with intense contrast.
Not all of your images work for me, but when you get them right they are fanatastic and artistic. No kidding. This is one of your greatest ones in my opinion.

thank you a ton here, Adam! not all my images work for ME either? lol if I could…I’d just post macros of nature only…period. Especially of insects and fungi. BUT…I know I’d bore people after a while.
I love leaves…thru their entire lives…especiall in the fall. Ones like this I really study for the textures and patterns, not to mention the color.
