I liked shooting snails too until I saw how tough it was to get depth of field right for the entire slimmer. One eye too close, face in focus, shell looks like it belongs to another snail, white balance…. These shots either show up all your weaknesses or your strengths really darned easily.

When I find where you screwed something up, I’ll be sure and mention it. But two days later and after being featured, I don’t think I can even come up with a good lie. :-D From the pristine shell to the composition, you aced this and you know it.

  • Carla Jandelle... replied

lol…u’r silly Lenny. if it wasn’t for this awesome little camera…i’d never have GOTTEN this shot u know?
and i won’t even mention (or have i?) how many shots i took just to get this ONE :o)

  • Lenny La Rue, IPA

    Lenny La Rue, IPA

No matter how many shots it takes, getting The Shot is all that matters now that you’re not wasting time developing the suckers. :-)

  • Carla Jandelle... replied

i’ve got 15 rolls of film waiting to be developed right now. when we only have 2 local choices for this? it’ll be awhile….........i don’t ‘do’ Wallyworld and the other place is the local pharmacy…the ladies who are the labtechs? are in their late 70’s at the least and only JUST learned how to work the machines. eeeesh
