Creamy Waves

some of my most favorite imagery to do is the undersides of mushrooms. my son only sees ‘caps’ or ‘stems’ or ‘yuck’.......i see gills/stems/caps/gills/beauty/bugs…..... :o)

lol…yes it is a mushroom! sometimes the gills aren’t just straight lines….sometimes they aren’t lines at ALL! :o)

thanx again Dennis! this is a different Oyster then what I usually photograph…was happy to see these! the gills are even thicker and stronger then the ‘usual’ mushroom….and sunlight made for the best light exposure here

lol…all the mushrooms i’ve worked with till i started photographing them were dark gilled and ‘boring’ incomparison. there’s such an abundance of edible beauties out there…u just have to be brave (and correct!) my thanx Gavin

i find the pure whites sometimes to be incredibly difficult to photograph? but if one perserveres…we get lucky eventually
