Indifference
A beautiful tabby long hair…named samantha….....another of my local Humane Society’s babies. She was dumped off in a box and malnureshed when we found her…she’s since been adopted by one of our local police officers and now has the run of a happy household. Not all our babies find homes that are good or even FIND one at ALL. We had one gorgeous animal that ended up being allergic to some of the med’s we had to use to cure him of his sickness. He didn’t make it. So it’s always nice to know when we have a good ending.

i’ve another image i’m still looking for…..of a kitty very much like this one? who was missing her eye. the owner? didn’t take care of an infection so the kitty lost site in one side. we took her in and she found a home after a couple months of recouperation. ugh. people suck

people just suck to me. i was mentioning to someone earlier about how people have this ‘me me me’ standard in life. sadly? when it comes to pets? guess who often gets left behind when that standard comes out. grrr

having lived in the country so long…u’d be amazed at how often people dump their ‘pets’ thinking? oh this farmer would want a cat/dog! ...the truth though is farmers can’t afford to always raise those extra mouths as well! almost all my pets have been dump offs and strays or rescues.

she was the type of kitty? who would sit by and watch the masses of other kitties wander all over…......and just sit calmly by and watch. she has a very happy home from the last time i saw her so am very glad! thanx for the comment!

Beautiful animal and yes, it is nice to see when there is a happy ending. All of my critters were rescues but I wish that I could take all of them home with me, you know? Gorgeous portrait; how did you get her to hold still like that? lol I can get wild snakes to pose for me, but my cats? Never. :P
