A painter applys paint to his chosen material.He transforms his idea form the brain to the canvas with his brush. Ultimately rgardless of the time or the cost or the artists own perception of his works, the art gains credibility through opinion. There is no good or bad. there is only opinion .
A photographer attempts to either capture a moment or replicate an idea. It is already there.Ultimately, regardless of his time or the cost of his equipment, or his artistic technique,and composition ability, the photgraphs gain credibility by opinion.
A digital artist use the same techniques with different equipment. Ultimately it is the inspiraration and the means of transforming the unseen electricity from the brain, from none matter to matter, which makes an artist.
