I took this photo in mexico while watching a “palenque de gallos”, a tough fight between roosters. Each rooster is worse thousands of dollars, they compete with a sharp blade attached to their ancle, sometimes the fight only last for 5 seconds. The ambiance around the ring is intense, masculine and weird, very special experience. Aweful thing I know, but part of the Mexican tradition.

    I saw this happening in Indonesia, it’s nasty business indeed. I’m pretty sure we came across it happening inside the grounds of temple because that was the only place it could be done legally or something.
