Back in Melbourne
I’m finally back in Melbourne, after 8 months spent home in Paris.
I was sitting in the sun today and that reminded me of this photo I took 3 weeks ago… when I was freezing my bum on these chair-lifts.
I also saw Sjem today, so I thought I’d upload something in his honor.

Firstly, this is remarkably beautiful.
Secondly, I have also just arrived back in Aus, coincidentally.
Thirdly, I dropped a bag full of medium format into Lab X in St K about an hour ago, so (sticking with this French theme) I am très excited.
sasufi replied
Oh that’s a funny thing. You too couldn’t stand the cold any longer?
Maybe I’ll be lucky enough to bump into you at some weird camera shop counter then.
AND:I can not wait to see that bag uploaded on here.

Actually it’s a short sweet redbubble business trip, I’ll be back in London in a week. I love the cold.
sasufi replied
oh right.
you’re a lucky one then. Back and forth for a week sounds pretty fun.
I’m here for 2 more months then will be back in Paris.

Well ‘just arrived’ was an excited and incorrect way of saying ‘I’ve been here two weeks already’. So it’s not so bad. Long enough for sjem to buy me a pint anyway.

Had never heard of Holga until I saw one in Photo Continental yesterday. Now I stumble across this group and see the beauty that you are creating. Not enough to entice me back to film. But have loved browsing through the ethereal emotive shots you are creating.
