Beaded Gecko

In NSW, the Beaded Gecko Diplodactylus damaeus is found across the western plains generally in mallee, or spinifex sandhill habitats. This individual was observed in the spinifex sandhills west of Lake Mungo, in south-western NSW.

Beaded Gecko belongs to the following groups:

Animal Kingdom, Australian Bush and Rainforest Photography, Happy Haven, Macro Untouched, National Parks of the World, Rural NSW and Wild Nature Photography & Writing

    hehehe…....I was wondering how I could plant some spinifex grass in my garden, put out some fallen timber, and a handful of rocks, without it looking to ‘herpy’! Maybe I am…..................

    Thanks Stu. Yes, some days I do have to pinch myself! But its not all fun, I have found myself in some hairy spots! Like, bogged 100kms away from the nearest house! But generally, all those hard years of study have paid off in terms of job satisfaction, thats for sure!

    Sure was, havent seem too many of these guys, but they are around! They are cute, and he was showing off for the camera also!
