These Rainbow Lorikeets were photographed at Lake Conjola, south of Nowra, NSW, Australia. I was enjoying an apple when I was ‘attacked’. I think this image really sums up there personality!

Beautiful picture and beautiful birds. Lorikeets are awesome. We had a rainbow lorikeet once, great bird but very noisey and very messy, there beauty is well worth it though.

They have no shame, do they LOL
I used to have a flock of them decend on my front verandah every morning when I lived by the beach. Now I’ve moved and they play in the tree tops – noisy and colourful and better than Christmas decorations :)
