Tuross Lake
Tuross Lake is located between Batemans Bay and Narooma on the NSW Far South Coast and covers some 13 sq.kilometres and is around 2-4 metres deep. The town of Tuross Head is located north of the entrance. The most popular activities here are of course fishing, with the lake being declared a recreational fishing haven (no commercial fishing allowed). The lake is also a significant oyster producer. Eurobodalla National Park flanks the eastern edge of the lake.
