Spooky Forest

This walk runs through the Melalueca forest Melaleuca armillaris between Tathra and Wallagoot just behind the beach dunes, within Bournda National Park, NSW Far South Coast, AU. My eldest daughter hates going for a walk through here: she thinks its very spooky, what bad dreams are made of!

How old is your Daughter Steven.? I wouldn’t want to venture along this path by myself at all because you never know who might be lurking at the other end and especially at night. Yes I agree it would be very spooky.Wonderful capture.

  • Steve Sass replied

old enough to know better (lol). Definately not a spot for a night time walk!

Love it. I love venturing down mysterious little paths

  • Steve Sass replied

Thanks Sharon. Theres some great birding around here, tawny crowned honeyeaters, white-fronted chats, even saw some little terns not far, from this spot last year.

I love it Steven. You could do so much with this. Cut out a photo of someone dressed in white and make them opaque looking. Then put them on the path here.

  • Steve Sass replied

Thanks Sharon, Yes, I guess you could, I am not much for photoshoping but, never had the desire…................

This is a powerful shot. I can see why people’s imagination might run wild while walking through this path of twisted trees. Wonderful capture. This goes immediately into my collection of favorites.

  • Steve Sass replied

Thanks Wildwings, I was only back there the other day also, its a great place, and your imagination does run wild!
