Araluen Gum

The Araluen Gum Eucalyptus kartzoffiana is listed as a threatened species in Australia under NSW and commonwealth legislation. The species has a very limited distribution, being found only in the found in the Araluen, Bendethera and Major’s Creek area, south of Braidwood. We found these magnificent trees today when we took a back road for a change coming back from Captains Flat to the coast.
