    curious what butter paper is….is it the color? or what butter is wrapped in? i see that it is textured….or you added texture? your faces are so lovely. your work beautiful! thank you for bringing me here! ….and for you attention to my work, as well!

  • You are very kind Stephanie, and no need to thank me.. it’s lovely to meet you as well! :) Butter Paper can be found in your local art store & its really just a very soft sheet of brownish tracing like paper. I scrunched the paper to add texture, then used gouache to stain. No digital enhancements what so ever. Im really not too sure what this paper is intended for, but i just love its texture and the way ink sits on it. Hope this helps! :)) x
