Main Street, Whithorn, Scotland by

This is a little village of Whithorn, about 8 miles from our home; the seat of Christianity in Scotland brought to the area by St Ninian. There is a priory centre here which gives all the history to tourists and a visit to St ninian’s cave is always a priority for visitiors. St Ninian’s cave isa bout 4 miles out of the village long the coast.

  • Thank you so much . You should find some history about St Ninian quite easily on Google. :))

Do you not have cars in Scotland Angie. I’m expecting a horse and cart to come into the picture. Great feeling of age to this, looks like a very laid back place.

  • LOL. There is another image taken looking down the way I have in my portfolio; the cars having emigrated to that end of the town. But yes, it is laid back, and this little village is just 7 miles from us.
