This old milk churn belonged to my late mum.
She lived through the German Occupation in the 40’s as a teenager and can recall using this milk can that belonged to her mum (my gran) during that time.
I treasure it; and it hangs in the kitcehn as a reminder for those years my mum lived through in the Channel Islands.
It’s roughly 70 years old or more.
I did add a little processing to it, to give it an olde worlde feel.
Taken with my humble camera the Samsung NV9.

What a great family keepsake and with all that history as well. I remember them stacked up outside my granddads blacksmith forge which was opposite a dairy farm in Tetbury GLOS. Seeing your one jogged a memory.

  • Thank you so much Mark. So you remember seeing them too eh!
