Some of the events in 2013 can never be undone, but those things we CAN change let’s consider doing so.
This year has been a rollercoaster for many with the loss of loved ones, (especially in our own family), but remember that your memories of them are your own personal treasure.
As we look to 2014 and in a few hours we will welcome it, let’s endeavour to swim against this societys’ age of negativity, hopelessness, corruption and greed.
Instead let us press on to show and share compassion, encouragement and respect and stretch out a helping hand to those in need.
Let us also view our own potential and believe we can do something about it, that will spring up fruitfulness, fulfillment and dreams that become reality.
In the words of Ellen Goodman (Journalist & columnist) -
“We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives, not looking for flaws, but for potential.”
Blessings to all for 2014.
