Original oil painting on canvas, 90×90 cm, 2012 © Nicla Rossini 2012

This is inspired by the hypothesys recently put forward by some astronomists that Andromeda and the Milky Way might collide earlier than expected. It is intended to depict Andromeda the way it shouldbe visible at night from the Northern hemispehre of Earth during collision.
