Yellow Archangel – Lamiastrum galeobdolon. Sometimes also known as Herman’s Pride. From the family Lamiaceae. British wildflower flowering April to June, found mainly in woodlands and hedgerows in central and southern England.

Painting from sketches and photographs from Beckney woods, Hockley, Essex. Painted using W&N watercolours with a touch of gouache on hotpressed arches paper.
