Flag Iris, this artwork was featured in Artists & Illustrators 1998 to promote the Society of Botanical Artists Exhibition at Westminster, London. It is a past work but still a favourite. I had a phase when I produced just flowers on a darker background so the viewer could appreciate how delicate the petals are. Painted in gouache.

It was I sold a couple of years ago now. But yes scans are really not as good as the real thing, in my opinion.
