Hi….thanks for checking out my work, I am a designer/maker with a degree in ceramics and glass….......I like to experiment with all things creative, anything that I can get my hands on I’m not content with trying one thing I want to try everything from textiles to glass and everything inbetween! and combine the influences to make something fantastic! I enjoy the design side of things equally to making…I still enjoy getting in a mess with clay as well as sitting for hours on my computer playing around on photoshop
Basically I love to design and make things, in particular I have a passion for designing patterns, in fact I would go as far to say that I am obsessed with pattern…..looking at it….creating it and just generally doodling!
I draw all my patterns by hand before colouring/editing them on the computer
I use many of my patterns and images to decorate my tableware pieces.
I really enjoy taking pictures of nature and things which surround me capturing moments to last forever…..I use my photographs as inspiration in my designs, other things which inspire me are traveling to exciting places…I loved india!, nature, organic curvy things!, snowboarding, being outside, and the prints, patterns & organic forms which were found in 50’s homewares and textiles, to check out more examples of my work please visit
